Uses of 'if'

Mostly "If" is used by following three methods.Such as:-

1. If+present indefinite, present indefinite /future indefinite.

For example :- If you study attentively, you will shine in life.

2. If+past indefinite, future in past.

 For example :- If you got A+ in your HSC,  you could get admission in a renowned institution.

3. If+past perfect, sub+ would /could/might/should +have+v3.

For example : If you had written a letter to your friend, you might have got reply of your letter.
