5 Special grammatical rules for Hsc, Bcs and Bank
My dear learners, I will note down 5 special grammatical
rules.
1.
Before as if, as though, since, If we get
present indefinite tense ,then after as
if, as though, since , the sentence structure will be past indefinite/ if be verb then “were”
For example: he behaves as if/as though he knew everything.
He talks as if/as though he were a king.
It is many years since he died.
2.
Before as if, as though, since, If we get
past indefinite tense ,then after as if,
as though, since , the sentence structure will be past perfect tense.
For example: He talked as if/as though he had known
everything.
It was many years since he had seen you .
3.
After “wish”
second sentence will be past tense/ if be verb ,then were or could .
Such as: I wish I were a BCS
cadre.
I wish I could win a prize.
4.
If we get “As soon as” in sentence, then both
sentences/ portions will be past indefinite tense. For example: as soon as he got money, he ran a away.
5.
After it is time/it is high time, second sentence
will be past indefinite tense.
Like: it is time he got ready.
It
is high time he wrote an application .
