Remember that the following verb Phrases require an “ing” for a verb in the complement.

1.     Approve of 2. Be better off 3. Can’t help4. Count on

5. Do not mind 6. Forget about 7. Get through

8. Insist on 9. Keep on 10. Look forward to

11. Object to 12. Think about 13. Think of

 

Example:  I am looking forward to watching the football match between Argentina and Brazil.

We wouldn’t mind writing an application.

 

NOTE:  Avoid using an- infinitive after the verb Phrases listed.
