Remember that the following verbs require an infinitive for a verb in the complement.

26. Seem 27. Tend 28. Threaten 29. Wait 30. Want 

 

Example:  we intend to inform you that we plan to buy a car.

 

NOTE:  Avoid using an- ing form after the verbs listed.
